Summary of tender/assignment
The Government of Sint Maarten has received financing from the Government of the Netherlands in the form of a Grant to be administered by the World Bank toward the cost of the Sint Maarten Emergency Recovery Project 1 (ERP-1). It intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract SX-NRPB-284650-GO-RFB for VROMI Specialty Trucks.
The Sint Maarten National Recovery Program Bureau (NRPB), as the implementing agency for the Project, now invites electronic Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of eight (8) diverse vehicles grouped under three lots to be delivered to Sint Maarten. Bids are called concurrently for multiple Lots:

Bidders may Bid for one or several complete Lots, as further defined in this Request for Bids (RFB) document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts, if they are awarded more than one Lot, will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.
Bidders shall also note that they have the option to propose any alternative proposal by Lot, by specifying which exceptions to the Technical Specification detailed in Section 7.3 of this RFB they have considered in order to provide similar trucks to the ones the Purchaser is seeking in the shortest delivery time possible.
The Purchaser will first consider any proposal fully in line with this RFB, and any alternative proposal not fully in line with RFB, at his discretion.
Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a RFB as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. The bidding document in English may be obtained at no charge by interested Bidders upon registration at procurement@nrpbsxm.org. The Purchaser assumes no responsibility for bidding documents not received through the indicated application.

Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before September 30th, 2022 at 15h00 Atlantic Standard Time [AST]. Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on September 30th, 2022 at 15h30 Atlantic Standard Time [AST].
